Free Press: Expect Price Hikes After Cable Merger

The Federal Communications Commission just approved a massive cable/Internet Service Provider merger between Charter Communications and Time Warner. The deal has outraged many in the movement to keep net neutrality and preserve affordable and equal access Internet for all. A group tracking such issues released a statement saying the approval by the FCC will cause price hikes to pay the debt Time Warner owes from the deal, which will disproportionately affect the poor most.
